When every hour counts, on any route in the world. Direct contact, fast response.
A production line in Germany stops because a single part has not arrived from Japan. A medical device is needed in a hospital tomorrow morning, and there is no tomorrow-after-tomorrow to fall back on. A vessel is closing its cargo manifest in six hours and your shipment is not booked yet. None of these situations care about a standard freight timeline, and none of them are solved by a form and a queue.
This is what time critical freight actually means in practice. It is not a category on a rate card, it is a phone ringing and someone needing an answer in minutes, not days. When that call comes in, we do not run it through the same process as a routine booking. We assess what is genuinely possible on the timeline you have, and we tell you straight away, not after checking with three other people first.
What makes the difference in these situations is not luck. It is having a dedicated contact who picks up the phone, knows freight forwarding well enough to make a fast decision, and starts moving immediately once you say go. We do not promise the impossible, but we do promise a straight answer fast, and that once we are moving, we are moving.
AOG stands for Aircraft on Ground, and it describes exactly what it sounds like: an aircraft that cannot fly because it is waiting for a part. It is the single most time-sensitive category in freight, because the cost of the delay is not measured in freight charges. It is measured in an asset worth tens of millions sitting idle on a runway or in a hangar.
Every hour an aircraft is grounded costs the operator money, in lost revenue, in passenger disruption, and in knock-on schedule effects across an entire network. That pressure means an AOG request is never routine, and it is never something that can wait for the next working day or the next available slot in a queue.
When an AOG call comes in, we find the fastest available flight for the part, whether that means a scheduled service, a next-flight-out option, or an on-board courier. We arrange the export documentation in parallel rather than waiting for the booking to be confirmed first, and we coordinate directly with handlers at both the origin and destination airport so nothing sits waiting at either end. You hear from us at every step, because in an AOG situation, silence is worse than bad news.
When you call us with an urgent shipment, we are already thinking about solutions before you finish explaining the situation.
An on-board courier, or OBC, is a person who physically travels with your shipment on a commercial flight, carrying it as accompanied baggage rather than sending it as freight. It removes the handling and screening steps a standard cargo shipment goes through, which can save critical hours when a part or document absolutely has to arrive on a specific flight.
We arrange this when the situation calls for it: booking the courier alongside the cargo, handling the documentation that allows the item to travel as baggage, and coordinating collection at the destination the moment the flight lands. It is not the right solution for every urgent shipment, and we will tell you when a next-flight-out booking achieves the same result for less. When OBC genuinely is the fastest option, we move on it quickly.
